Cohort 2 Applications Now Open for students in Years 11 in 2026


Tech Education for Future Leaders


Journey into the world of technology with our intensive course designed to set the highest standards in tech education. Students will not only develop advanced tech skills but will also thrive in an environment that celebrates collaboration and high-level problem solving.


Experience real-world computer programming while completing credits for the NT Certificate of Education & Training (NTCET).

This can be completed alongside other school classes and is available for all 11 students in the Northern Territory.


Students will develop their technology portfolios in:
  • Web Development

  • AI and Machine Learning

  • Cyber Security

  • Engage in project-based learning that emphasizes teamwork and interactive, peer-led assessments within a dynamic setting.

Industry-relevant skills

  • Master JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for web development. Our constantly updated curriculum ensures most current, industry-relevant content.

Beyond the classroom

  • Taught over 4 intensive weeks at Darwin's tech hub, The Array, students will get a chance to meet technology professionals and start building their network while learning the skills.



HOW IT WORKS?

Our Stage 2 Digital Technologies program is a shared commitment between The Array, your school, and you as the student. Each plays an essential role in delivering an experience that’s not just educational—but transformative.


The Array [ ]

  • Delivers all four intensive learning blocks face-to-face

  • Tracks attendance and ensures student wellbeing throughout the program

  • Administers, marks, and provides feedback on assessments

  • Provides lunch and snacks to keep students energised


Your School

  • Coordinates transport to and from The Array for each block

  • Moderates your assessments and submits them for NTCET recognition


You, The Student

  • Commits to attending each day of the four intensive blocks

  • Submits all assessment tasks by the week following each block

  • Arrives curious, open-minded, and ready to explore what’s possible in tech

4 x 1 week intensives: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 2:30pm

  • Term 3 Week 1: 13/07 - 17/07

  • Term 3 Week 10: 14/09 - 18/09

All computers, software and equipment required for the session are provided onsite at The Array unless stated otherwise.
