Build your tech skills at our Learning Dojo

our mission

Our mission at The Array is to transform the Territory into a global digital success story – and that starts with learning. Learning for everyone.

We’re building the digital backbone we’ll need to thrive in the future by:

Learning at Every Stage

Engaging with youth through games like Minecraft and Fortnite, and teaching them to create as well as consume

Supporting teenagers to learn the tech skills they need for STEM subjects, Year 12 studies and their future careers

Enhancing the skills of adult developers in all areas of tech, through coding, AI, 2D/3D visuals and game design courses.

We have something for everyone. Any age from 5 to 95. Any skill level from novice to ninja. And if you can’t find what you want, why not ask us? We’d love to organise it for you.

Youth Courses (age 5-12)

First steps in STEM

Today’s children are digital natives. They’re born with a phone in their hands and learn

to swipe before they can talk.

To thrive in the future, they need to control the tech rather than letting the tech control them.

That’s what we teach them.

  • IT courses which integrate with school subjects – like SACE Stage 2 Digital Technologies

  • Courses which feed their interest and fire their imagination – the stepping stones to digital careers

Programs for Teens (age 13-18)

Pathways to Success in a Digital Future

Smartphones. Blockchain. Social Media. AI. The world our young people are entering is full of tech – tech which changes everything. Even if they do the same jobs we did, they’ll do them in a different way, with different, hi-tech tools on hand. To control their own futures, they need to understand and use those tools.

  • That’s what we teach teenagers.

  • IT courses which integrate with school subjects – like SACE Stage 2 Digital Technologies

Holiday Camps

Less passive, more proactive

Lean in to your child’s passion for Minecraft, or Roblox, or Fortnite. There’s more to these games than hours on a laptop on the couch. Guided play at our holiday camps, with set objectives and expert coaching support, builds the planning, teamwork and tech skills our kids and teens need. All while they’re playing.

Give yourself a break and give them a helping hand.

"Cool co-working space for game development! They have a lot of gaming and professional development events hosted here."
