An ‘array’ in programming is a collection of different elements housed together.
The Array, in Darwin, is a space which houses and supports multiple different aspects of the growing digital economy.
Founded by entrepreneurs born and bred in the NT, working closely with the NT Government, local and international organisations, our mission is to drive digital innovation, learning and entrepreneurship in Darwin, as a hub for the Territory.

Since opening in 2024 we've:
Welcomed over 6,000 people to learn, make and play at The Array
Helped startups which have scored over $3 million of investment funds
(games studios, AI and other digital innovation ideas)
Run game development masterclasses with industry figures including Morgan Jaffit of Defiant Development, Shainiel Deo of Halfbrick Studios, Shieny Aprilia of Agate and Simon Alty of Bethesda
Run game jams and supported local developers to make dozens of video games
Established the NT’s first interschool esports league
Run international esports events, with players from Australia, the Philippines and Indonesia
