Tuesdays | 05 Aug - 02 Sep 2025 Learning Dojo, The Array, Vic Mall, Darwin CBD Ever played a game and thought, “I’d love to make something like this” — but had no idea where to begin? This course is made for you. In this hands-on, beginner-friendly course, you’ll learn the basics of game development using Godot, a free and open-source engine used by indie developers around the world. We’ll guide you through everything from setting up a project to creating something simple and playable by the end of the course. No experience? No problem. All you need is a bit of curiosity and a willingness to have a go. Over five (5) weeks, you’ll explore how games are structured, build your own small playable project, and get a real feel for what goes into crafting interactive experiences. The best part? It’s only $50 for the full term — or completely FREE if you’re a member of The Array. Thanks to support from Screen Australia, we’ve made this programme more affordable and accessible for people across the Northern Territory. If cost is still a barrier, we’ve got a limited number of scholarships available — just get in touch.
