Last year, we kicked off the very first interschool esports league in the NT, and it still feels surreal how far we’ve come with the help and support of the schools and our community. There’s no way but forward for the world in terms of digital development, and we know how the popularity of gaming could be an instrument to inspire our youth to learn practical ICT skills—skills they can actually use in the future. It was such a thrill watching them sharpen their tech know-how and truly come together as a team.

Now, we’re taking a massive step forward: we’re officially partnering with Fuse Cup AU (Daniel Aivaliotis-Martinez) to bring NT student esports talent to the international stage—right here in Darwin this May 2025!

Students will still be competing in the Rocket League game, but more the competition, this program is mostly about encouraging digital wellbeing and online safety alongside ICT skills development, so our students can shine both in-game and beyond.

If you’re an educator here in the NT, we’d absolutely love for you to be a part of this. For more details, feel free to email hello@thefusecup.com.au, or check out the competition dates here: https://www.thefusecup.com.au/competition and register your team at https://forms.monday.com/forms/5db1f534ea750f98e0b811555a659443?r=use1.

Let’s make this next step in our esports journey an unforgettable one together!
